Part of the Beck Commentary Collection, the work The Criminal Code. Commentary on Articles. Fourth Edition, has established itself as one of the fundamental analyses of the Criminal Code, becoming, over time, an essential landmark for legal doctrine and practice in Romania.

The Forth Edition brings the element of novelty of the participation of our colleagues from the Faculty, both of whom contributed to the success of the work. The structured, broad and coherent approach to the provisions of each article (specific to the Commentary collection) is maintained, the explanations being clear, concise and correlated with the normative body. The numerous legislative amendments of recent years are subject to analysis, in a permanent correlation of the proposed solutions with recent jurisprudence at national and European level.

Through the constant effort of updating and the level of doctrinal analysis offered, the work confirms its vocation as an indispensable tool for practitioners, magistrates, lawyers and theorists of law, maintaining itself as one of the major landmarks of the contemporary Romanian legal landscape.
