The LAW Doctoral School organizes two types of doctoral university study programs:

a) Scientific doctorate – organized in the form of full-time or part-time education – places on the budget (with or without a scholarship) or with a fee.

The scientific doctorate is the basis for a professional career in higher education and research.

b) Professional doctorate – places on the budget or with a fee organized in the form of full-time or part-time education.

• 13 – 17 July 2026, until 2 pm: registration – exclusively online in the dedicated admission platform https://admitere.ubbcluj.ro/.

• 22 July 2026: Admission examination – on site – at the Faculty of Law, Str. General Traian Moșoiu, no. 10-12 (written exam and interview).

The doctoral admission examination consists of two parts:

a) A written specialty exam, based on a topic announced by the doctoral advisor -9 am – room 106;

b) An interview during which the candidate’s scientific interests, research skills and the proposed topic for the doctoral thesis are analyzed – 12 pm, room 106

• 24 – 27 July 2026, until 2 p.m. – Confirmation of the spot- must be done both online, via the admissions platform and on site/in person, by submitting the necessary documents to the secretariat of the Doctoral School of Law – Str. General Traian Moșoiu, no. 10-12.
