The Faculty of Law announces a noteworthy new publication of interest to the history of the Faculty and the history of legal education.
The book authored by Associate Professor Gyula Fábián, titled Quod non legitur, non creditur, is a collection of documents regarding the history of legal education in Cluj between 1872 and 1919.
The volume spans 758 pages; 85 of these are dedicated to the author’s account of the history of legal education in Cluj from 1581 to 1919, providing a detailed overview of the professors, the subjects taught, and the Faculty of Law’s operations.
Published in Hungarian by Cluj University Press, the book also includes a table of contents in Romanian to facilitate access to the presented historical documents for all researchers within the university.
