Team BBU for Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Stands Out in Bucharest

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Team BBU, currently preparing for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, achieved outstanding results at the European Jessup Friendly Rounds and Romanian National Rounds, an event held last week in Bucharest.

After months of intense preparation, Team BBU argued for Alekostria and Restovia, addressing difficult issues of public international law. The awards were for the best memorial (Best Memorials) and for the best speaker (Best Oralist), respectively, awarded to Mădălina Bumb.

Team BBU represents the Faculty of Law and is composed of: Mădălina Bumb, Bogdan Gălățan, Anda Suciu, Luca Bozdoc, Alexandru Maier. The team’s training is provided by Patricia Cîmpean, Răzvan Cheșa and Gabriela Dănilă, and the academic supervision is provided by Associate Professor Diana Botău.
