Between April 24–25, 2026, the Faculty of Law team participated in the national round of the international mock trial competition “Telders Moot Court Competition”, held at the Faculty of Law of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu.

The team, consisting of Maria Avramescu (1st year), Enia-Tiana Pașcalău (3rd year), Sabina Nicoleta Toma (2nd year) and Irina Deacu (4th year), obtained 1st place in the national ranking, thus qualifying for the international stage of the competition, which will take place in The Hague, between June 3–6, 2026.

Telders is the most prestigious European competition in Public International Law, annually bringing together teams from over 20 states. The team’s preparation was coordinated by attorney Gabriela Dănilă and associate professor Diana Botău, PhD.

We thank BRD Groupe Société Générale SA, the main sponsor of the participation, for the investment in education.

Congratulations to the team and good luck in The Hague!
