Today, July 27, 2026, the admission exam results for the July 2026 session—after Round 1—have been posted. These can also be viewed on the admission platform.

Confirmation of spots in Round 2 must be completed by Tuesday, July 28, at 3:00 PM.

• For admitted candidates coming from the WAITING list – confirmation is completed online on the admission platform https://admitere.ubbcluj.ro/ by Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM, by paying the first tuition fee installment according to the details presented here and submitting the file containing the required documents to the secretariat by Friday, August 7, 2026 (Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM).
• For candidates admitted to TUITION-FREE (BUDGET) spots following redistribution – confirmation is completed online on the admission platform https://admitere.ubbcluj.ro/ by Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM, and by submitting the original High School Diploma and academic transcript to the secretariat by Friday, August 7, 2026 (Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM). The tuition fee amount paid by candidates admitted to budget-funded spots will be automatically refunded to their bank accounts within 30 days.
• For candidates who were admitted, following redistribution, to FULL-TIME, FEE places (originally admitted to Distance Learning) – confirmation is made online on the admission platform by Tuesday, July 28, 2026, 3:00 PM.

ATTENTION – failure to confirm online, on the platform by Tuesday, July 28, 2026, 3:00 PM, will result in loss of your place.

Accommodation applications must be submitted to the secretariat between July 25 and July 26, 2026 (between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM).

The written exam results have been published in the applicants’ accounts on the admissions platform today, 22 July 2026, at 11:30 am.

Grade appeals may be submitted until 23 July 2026, at 11:30 am, by email to law@law.ubbcluj.ro.

Each appeal must include the following mandatory information: the applicant’s full name; the applicant’s registration number; a clear statement of what is being appealed; the date; and the applicant’s signature.

The Faculty of Law announces that the undergraduate admission exam (the logical reasoning test) will take place on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FSEGA), Babeș-Bolyai University, located in Cluj-Napoca, 58-60 Teodor Mihali Street.

Candidates must arrive at the venue and will be admitted into the exam rooms starting at 09:00 AM. The test will officially begin at 10:00 AM.

Candidates must bring the following with them:

• Identity Document (ID card/Passport);
• Exam Badge– printed or in electronic format.

The exam badge has been sent via email to all registered candidates). Make sure to check both your Inbox and Spam folders.

During the exam, candidates are strictly forbidden from having mobile phones or any other remote communication devices on their person.

The exam consists of multiple-choice grid tests designed to evaluate logical reasoning.

The exam lasts for 1 hour, starting immediately after the questionnaires have been fully distributed.

Test results will be published anonymously, using only your exam badge number instead of your name.

Therefore, please keep your exam badge safe to identify your results on the lists!

Answer sheets will be graded digitally (using automated software), including in the case of any appeals.

Registration for undergraduate admission is closed.

Candidates are required to verify their data on the admission platform and report any errors or omissions (strictly regarding GPAs and options) via email to law@law.ubbcluj.ro by July 18 at 2:00 PM.

Your registration is only considered valid once you receive the status APPLICATION REGISTERED on the admission platform.

For the academic year 2026-2027, the Faculty of Law organizes admission to the study program: LAW, 4 years; line of study: ROMANIAN to the following forms of education:

– Full-time education

Full-time education and Distance learning

1. Selection criteria:

– a written test, to verify logical reasoning, with a weight of 50% in the admission average;

– the average obtained in the baccalaureate exam, with a weight of 50% in the admission average.

2. Tie-breaking criteria:

– the grade in the written test to verify logical reasoning;

– the grade in the written test in Romanian language and literature within the baccalaureate exam. In the case of candidates who took the baccalaureate in another country, the grade obtained in the language of study during the baccalaureate exam will be taken into account. If there is no grade on this test, the average of the grades obtained in the language of study during high school will be taken into account.

– July 13-17, 2026 – Online registration https://admitere.ubbcluj.ro (the platform will close on July 17, 16:00);

July 18, 2026 – Period for reporting errors and omissions (wrong grades, incorrectly calculated averages, incorrect personal data) until 2:00 p.m.;

July 20th, 2026 – Written exam, which will take place at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration, 58-60, Teodor Mihali Street, Cluj-Napoca, at 10.00 a.m.

Candidates will be present in the exam room from 9.00 a.m.

July 21, 2026 – Submission of online grading scale appeals;

July 22, 2026 – Resolution of grading scale appeals;

July 22, 2026 – Display of written test results;

July 23, 2026 – Submission of online grading scale appeals;

July 24, 2026 – Display of appeals resolution; Display of initial results, stage I;

July 25-26, 2026 – Confirmation of places and redistribution stage I (the platform will close on July 26, 3:00 PM).

Confirmation will be made both online and physically by submitting the file, and candidates admitted to the fee will pay the first installment of tuition (1,500 lei);

July 27, 2026 – Display of results, stage II;

July 28, 2026 – Confirmation of places in stage II (the platform will close on July 28, 3:00 PM)

Candidates admitted following the redistribution will pay the first tuition installment (1500 lei);

July 29, 2026 – Display of the final lists.

September 7-8, 2026 – Online registration https://admitere.ubbcluj.ro (the platform will close on September 8, at 12:00);

September 9, 2026 – Period for reporting errors and omissions (wrong grades, incorrectly calculated averages, incorrect personal data) until 14:00;

September 10, 2026 – Written test;

September 11, 2026 – Submission of appeals to the online scale;

September 1, 2026 – Resolution of appeals to the scale;

September 12, 2026 – Display of the results of the written test;

September 13, 2026 – Submission of appeals to the score of the written test online;

September 14, 2026 – Display of appeals resolution; Display of initial results;

September 14-16, 2026 – Confirmation of places and redistribution (the platform will close on September 16, 12:00).

Confirmation will be made both online and physically by submitting the file, and candidates admitted to the fee will pay the first installment of tuition (1,500 lei);

September 16, 2026 – Display of the final lists.
