On September 24, 2026, the conference Tackling Money Laundering: Measures at the EU and National Levels will be held online as part of the European project Strengthening the Protection of EU’s Financial Interests via Criminal Law: A Comprehensive Study on Fraud Prevention, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering Measures, and Corporate Crime.

Associate Professor Daniel Nițu and Assistant Professor Laurențiu Negrean, representing Babeș-Bolyai University and its Faculty of Law, will deliver presentations at the conference alongside other leading experts from European universities and public institutions at both the European and national levels.
