Following the official inauguration held on 14 April 2025, all works at the new headquarters of the Faculty of Law in Cluj, located on 10–12 General Traian Moșoiu Street, were completed over the summer.

As a result of these investments, students of the Faculty of Law now benefit from modern educational and research facilities – three lecture halls (one with a capacity of 400 seats and two with about 200 seats each), 4 classrooms with over 50 seats, 18 seminar rooms with 27 seats each, a conference room, a reading room with 100 seats, and modern spaces for the Faculty’s library and offices.

The admission examination in July 2025 was already held in this new location, and the autumn examination session as well as all lectures and seminars starting on 29 September 2025 are also conducted here. The Faculty Library is fully operational on-site, meeting the highest standards.

Between 1996 and 2025, the Faculty of Law operated in the building at 11 Avram Iancu Street – an edifice built in 1909–1910 on the site of the former Turda Gate Tower, which previously hosted the first student dormitory of the “Francis Joseph” University. After 80 years since being displaced from the central building of the University, the Faculty of Law of Cluj is truly moving into a new home.
