Between 14 and 21 March 2026, Associate Professor Cosmin Flavius Costaș visited the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź, within the Erasmus Teaching Mobility programme. The teaching activity included forays into the taxation of individuals, corporate taxation and recent Romanian tax cases at the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The mobility also allowed participation in the activity of an extremely powerful tax research centre in Eastern Europe, namely the Centre of Tax Documentation and Studies (founded in 1997). The constructive and instructive discussions were attended by colleagues from the University of Łódź – Wlodzimierz Nykiel, the founder of CTDS; prof. dr. hab. Ziemowit Kukulski (director of CTDS); dr. Małgorzata Sęk (deputy director of CTDS); dr. Aneta Nowak-Piechota, respectively from the University of Toruń – dr. Ewa Prejs.

This mobility marked the initiation of a broader collaboration between the two faculties, through researchers dedicated to tax law.
