Invitation to the National Conference of Doctoral Students in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, 2026 edition

The Faculty of Law of Babeș-Bolyai University is organizing a new edition of the National Conference of Doctoral Students in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, to be held in Cluj-Napoca, between June 5-6, 2026. Doctoral students from Romanian law faculties whose thesis is in the field of criminal law or criminal procedural law are invited to participate in the conference.

The organizers will provide accommodation and meals to the selected participants, with transportation expenses to be borne by the participants.

In order to select the participants, they will send to the e-mail address ioana.curt@law.ubbcluj.ro (attn: Senior Lecturer Ioana Curt) the full text of the material to be presented, in the form of an article (including a summary in Romanian and English, and keywords in Romanian and English). The submitted material will be subject to analysis by the conference’s scientific committee, and doctoral students will be notified by e-mail of the result of the selection procedure. Following the conference, all materials presented will be published in the pages of the journal Criminal Law Writings.
