The Department of Public Law of the Faculty of Law is organizing a selection to form and strengthen the team that will represent the Faculty of Law at the international mock trial competition TELDERS.

Telders MCC is the most important Public International Law competition in Europe, with over 20 participating countries. The international rounds will take place in The Hague (Netherlands), in June 2026. In the very likely case that several universities in Romania will prepare a team for Telders MCC, the competition will also have a national stage. For more details regarding Telders MCC and for information on previous editions of the competition, you can consult https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/teldersmcc.

To express their intention to participate in the selection, interested students will send a CV and a short motivation letter (both in English), no later than Sunday – 16.11.2025 to the email address gabriela.danila@law.ubbcluj.ro. Advanced English language proficiency is a mandatory requirement.

The actual preselection will take place following an interview in English to be determined later, based on public international law topics that will verify both specialist knowledge and oratorical and argumentative skills, openness to teamwork, and adherence to strict time limits.
