Professional specialization program for students: Insurance Academy

Now in its 5th edition, the Insurance Academy is a professional specialization program dedicated to students, carried out by UNSAR – the National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in partnership with ISF – the Institute of Financial Studies and consists of a series of training modules supported by insurance specialists.

In this way, we would like to announce that we have started registrations, and the deadline is March 12, 2026 (23:59).

The project is open to any student at your university who wants to develop their knowledge about the insurance field, through interaction with specialists in the field.

Registration mechanism:

  1. Those interested form a team of 3 members, choose a leader and a team name
  2. Prepare CVs (Europass format) and a cover letter that must be a maximum of one word page, with Times New Roman font size 12, line spacing 1.15 and send them to the e-mail address: evenimente@isf.ro by March 12, 2026, 23:59.
  3. Complete the registration form.
  4. All registered participants participate in training sessions (90 min each), offered online on topics such as: underwriting, risk management, claims, etc. The period of the modules is March 16 – April 20, 2026.

After completing the Insurance Academy modules, 10 teams will be selected to conduct a case study on a given topic. On May 8, 2026, 3 winning teams will be chosen.

9 prizes will be awarded, one prize for each member of the winning team. The prizes are offered depending on the place occupied by the team, as follows:

  • 1st place: a laptop for each team member;
  • 2nd place: a tablet for each team member;
  • 3rd place: a pair of wireless headphones for each team member.
