DISSERTATION DATES FEBRUARY 2026

1. Registration: February 2 – 4, 2026

Registrations will be made online, by uploading scanned documents here: https://forms.gle/9pBKxc4JW2Fvxdae9 (access with institutional address) until Wednesday, FEBRUARY 4, 2026, 1:00 PM.

2. Presentation and defense of the dissertation: FEBRUARY 6, 2026 (on site – at the faculty headquarters)

IMPORTANT- Before registering for the dissertation, it is mandatory to check the work in the Turnitin platform by JANUARY 28, 2026.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS – mandatory – will be uploaded online

Each document will be scanned in pdf format, so that when viewing it is not necessary to rotate the page.

Graduates with a bachelor’s degree issued by UBB will upload:

1. Application form for registration – standard form attached
2. Affidavit – standard form attached
3. Bachelor’s degree (double-sided – pdf format)
4. Birth certificate (pdf format)
5. Dissertation (pdf format)
6. Identity document (pdf format)

Graduates with a bachelor’s degree issued by another university will upload:

1. Application form for registration – standard form attached
2. Affidavit – standard form attached
3. Baccalaureate diploma (double-sided – pdf format)
4. High school transcript (double-sided – pdf format)
5. Bachelor’s degree (double-sided – pdf format)
6. Diploma supplement or transcript (double-sided – pdf format)
7. Birth certificate (format pdf)
8. Dissertation (pdf format)
9. Identity document (pdf format)

For MASTER’S graduates of the 2022 and previous 2022 promotions, proof of payment of the registration fee (1,000 lei) is also required.

TURNITIN CHECK

For the DISSERTATION session in February 2026, it is mandatory to upload and check dissertation papers in the anti-plagiarism platform Turnitin. Based on the similarity percentage obtained, the coordinating professors will check the report and assume it by signature.

Therefore, all master’s students who are going to defend their dissertation in February 2026, will upload their dissertation paper to the platform by JANUARY 28, 2026.

Follow the instructions in the tutorial below.

1. Type the address: https://turnitin.com in your browser and press the Login button.
2. In the Login window – choose the Sign in with Google button
3. In the following window, use the institutional user …@law.ubbcluj.ro and the password corresponding to this account.
4. Confirm that you agree to the Turnitin terms of use.
5. Access the Enroll in a class button to enroll in your tutor’s class.
6. Fill in the Class ID and Enrollment key corresponding to your tutor in the following window. These data can be found in the file attached to this article.
7. Choose the February 2026 Master Review section and follow the instructions on the page to upload the work to be reviewed.
