The LAW Doctoral School organizes two types of doctoral university study programs:

a) Scientific doctorate – organized in the form of full-time or part-time education – places on the budget (with or without a scholarship) or with a fee. The scientific doctorate is the basis for a professional career in higher education and research;

b) Professional doctorate – places on the budget or with a fee organized in the form of full-time or part-time education.

will be organized in two sessions:

– July 2026 (July 14-29, 2026);

– September 2026 (September 7-23, 2026).

During the above-mentioned periods, the following will be organized:

– Registration for the admission competition – exclusively online in the dedicated admission platform https://admitere.ubbcluj.ro/;

– Admission competition – on site – at the Faculty of Law headquarters, Str. General Traian Moșoiu, no. 10-12 (written test and oral test).

The doctoral admission competition consists of two tests:

a) a specialized written test, based on a topic announced by the doctoral supervisor;

b) an interview during which the candidate’s scientific interests, research skills and the proposed topic for the doctoral thesis are analyzed.

– admission fee: 600 lei

– tuition fee: 6,000 lei/academic year
