The Faculty offers a main study program with a duration of 4 years (both full-time – FT, and distance learning – DL), leading to the award of a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

Master

Several master’s programs are also offered:

  • Private Law Institutions
  • Criminal Sciences and Criminology
  • European Law and National Business Law
  • Private Law of the European Union (in Hungarian)
  • International and Comparative Business Law (in English)
PhD

The Faculty offers the possibility to pursue a PhD in the following fields:

  • Civil Law
  • Commercial Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Special Criminal Law
  • Criminal Procedural Law
  • Roman Law
  • Administrative Law
Graduates of the Faculty of Law can hold various positions, namely:
  • Magistrates (judges and prosecutors)
  • Judicial auxiliaries (judicial assistants, bailiffs, land registry officers, court clerks, secretaries at courts and prosecutor’s offices)
  • Lawyers and their assistants within law firms or private practices
  • Notaries public and their assistants
  • Legal advisors in commercial companies, autonomous administrations, or national companies
  • Civil servants in central and local public administration
  • Managers or advisors in their own businesses
  • Experts for governmental or non-governmental institutions
  • Police officers and security services personnel
  • Any other position requiring legal training
